Events Group

The Events Group is a sub-group of the School Council. We help plan events and raise funds. For instance we sell drinks and snacks at various events (such as the Spring fling music event) or help plan and organise fun money raising events (such as the annual Burns supper and ceilidh). We've used the money raised to buy items for school (e.g. playground benches, games, etc) or fund projects.

If enough parents volunteer to help, it is not a huge commitment. We are happy for your help for even an hour or a half hour once in a while.

The group is informal and meets about once a month at the school. It's a fantastic way to meet other parents and find out what's going on at school. If you would like to become involved (either regularly or just as a one-off) please let Jo know know.
