Following on from our Curriculum for Excellence Parents Conference held on 26 September 2009, I attach my presentation and the written responses to your questions in the form of a Frequently Asked Questions paper.

As shared at the conference, Headteachers will now work with Parent Councils to discuss wider communication and engagement of their parent body in developing a greater understanding of Curriculum for Excellence and the changes arising from implementation.

We are currently preparing our communication strategy which will include communications to parents and we will involve parents in working with us to develop this.
